Last year I was asked by Louisiana Life magazine to capture the Societé of St. Anne, a Carnival walking club which started in 1969 as a rebellion to an orbinance that removed tradtional walking parades to the French Quarter. And unlike other Krewes with exclusive and costly memberships, St. Anne only requires that you show up and wear an awesome costume...which is really what the spirit of Mardi Gras is all about.
